Whilst living in London I've worked as a creative stylist both within costume design and art department for more than twenty five years. More recently, I’ve gravitated towards focusing on art department roles as set stylist & designer, buying & hiring props as well as wardrobe, overseeing all the facets within those roles.
Editorial photo shoots and stills advertising led to being on production crew for video / film & TV ad campaigns commissioned by leading brands & ad agencies. As costume designer I’ve worked on music promos, styling bands and designing costumes for tours, and independent films. I’ve found that being versatile and adaptable means that the job is always interesting, being a part of the team process & applying my creativity in a variety of ways towards a successful end goal is what motivates me.
With a passion for the aesthetic in film, photography, fashion and interiors my career took off whilst I was studying for my MA in graphic communication design at Central Saint Martins, London. My education encouraged me to freely explore art direction in these areas and I began styling and directing imagery, I quickly discovered that this was a role that incorporates all of my visual skills and interests without being restricted to one medium.
